I updated the v-party post.
Last night we talked about including the movies in our next rewatch and I want to get any attendees opinions on that. Yes, include the movies or no, don't include them. If yes, just T1 and T2 or all 4 movies? What do you guys think?

Also, if anyone wants to have v-parties at a more convenient for different time zones. You could call it v-party the EU edition or whatever. I'll do what I can to help spread the word.

I think you should definitely include T1 and T2 with TSCC viewing, but you will need to set in advance which cut of the films you will be viewing. Theatrical release, director's cut, extended edition, special edition. I even found a fan edit of T1 with all the deleted scenes restored!

That being said, you could do a once a year viewing of T3 and T4, just to break up the monotony. However, I can't watch T4 anymore without seeing how the story continues to fall apart with each passing second. T3 can be enjoyable, depending on my mood, and despite its obvious parody of T2 during the first 2/3's of the movie, the last 30 - 40 minutes stand out better than the rest of the film. Overall, I'd prefer watching T3 over T4 any day, at any time, and I prefer watching T1 & T2 over T3 and T4.

T3 & T4 could be used as examples as to why TSCC is so much better in continuing the story set in T1 & T2. :)
We will hold fast. We will never surrender!

Im in favor of including the movies, and if they will be, i think all of them have the right. maybe most people could say they want T2 and T1 for sure, but as a fan of the terminator franchise i think the best is going from 1 to 4 :)

I won't watch t4 anymore!
T3 is not bad.
As for "movies", you already know which non-Terminator movie I think inspired somehow S2 (as the text you quoted yourself from IMDB confirmed), and so I would suggest you to add it to the list. Original theatrical version, of course.

T3 is not a parody of T2 much more than T2 itself was of T1. And if you count the deleted scenes from T2, some irony was present there too (the smile or the T-1000 changing color).

T2 is a masterwork, while T1 is mainly an action movie. I'd like to see a remake of T4 using the original script (bale excluded, of course). Maybe they could produce it by mixing existing footage and CGI...

I've never actually seen the R rated version of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. I am interested to see the differences.

Whatever version others watch I'll have to see the PG-13 version of TS, it's what I have and what's available on Amazon Instant Video.

Never mind, I got it onto Facebook but please tweet it for me in case I can't.

It looks like WB has revamped their website. Sarah Connor is no longer listed among their shows. I can't find a place to stream any of what they have from a browser. They only mention that there is now an Xbox app to stream the latest 5 episode of the CW shows. I've used the one for Kindle.
